bariatric surgery card for restaurants (Read 1419 times)

Redskins FL New Member Offline Posts: 2	bariatric surgery card for restaurants Mar 31^st, 2007 at 1:08pm At the lap band seminar Dr. Grossbard showed a card that you could get to advise restaurants that you had bariatric surgery so you can request to order child portoins at restaurants. how can I get one of these cards? Thank you in advance for your help. I had my surgery 3/13/07 and i have already lost my first 10 pounds Jason

Jason you can ask the Receptionist at Dr.Rehnke's office for one. It's aleady sign and just a paper like business card. Which I've worn out. But I got a really nice plastic one from the ObesityHelp,com web-store. And had Dr.Rehmke sign it with a permanent marker at one of my appointment.

Have you've checked out www.obesityhelp.com ; and thus joined?

Received RNY 5/06 then placed the Realize Band on 4/09

I never got one of those cards. Be careful as most of the children's meals are not that healthy. You are often better choosing an appetizer, or taking half home to eat the next day. When I have wanted a smaller portion, no one has ever made a fuss if I ask for the luncheon portion or the child or even the senior portion once I explain. Try it, what have you got to lose? If you get a card from Dr. Rehnkes office, and have some extra time, you are welcome to come to 3E in the other office building and laminate. If some one reminds me, I can also bring my laminating machine to our support group meeting.
