2 days post op pain

I'm on my liquid diet and I have this pain when I swallow. Even taking a very small sip of water I feel like 2 secs later at the bottom of my stomach. Does this sound normal?

That is not my experience but I am not sure I can be the judge for normal. Your procedure sounded more painful then mine.

If I get air in with a fluid (like a gulp) it can hurt a little, but not particularly bad.

When in doubt, call the doc!  It's never a bad idea to call and ask - everyone is different and they will know if that's typical or something they need to check out!

I'm almost two years out and if I drink too fast or take too big of a gulp, it does hurt.  Reminds me to slow down!
